Motorcycle financing without the dealer add-ons.

A first street bike or a fully sorted café racer, financed at a fixed rate with none of the dealer accessories, prep charges, or padded rate rolled into the deal.

Assumes excellent credit. Your rate is determined by your credit profile, amount, and term.

Checking your rate does not affect your credit score.

What it covers.

  • A new or used street, sport, cruiser, or adventure bike
  • A private-seller purchase paid directly from your account
  • Riding gear, a first service, and registration together
  • A restoration or a tasteful build on a bike you already own

Why a Lightstream loan.

No packed-in dealer extras

Powersports financing is notorious for bundled add-ons. A fixed-rate loan funds the bike you actually chose — you decide separately what gear and accessories to add.

One fixed payment, every season

A motorcycle is often a seasonal purchase, but your payment stays the same year-round and never floats with the powersports lending market.

Buy from anyone

Dealer, marketplace, or the rider two towns over — funds in your account make you a cash buyer wherever the right bike turns up.

Nothing lienholders can complicate

Unsecured means no title lien to clear before a future sale, and no penalty if you decide to pay the loan off early.

Frequently asked questions.

Yes. Funds are deposited to your account, so a private-party motorcycle purchase works the same as buying from a dealer — you pay the seller directly and handle the title transfer with them, with no lender-to-seller escrow to arrange.

No. Because the loan is unsecured, sport bikes, cruisers, and adventure machines are all underwritten the same way — on your credit and income — rather than on an insurer-style risk rating for the model.

You can size the loan to cover the bike plus the gear, first service, and registration, since the money funds to your account rather than only to a dealer. Just include those costs in the amount you request.

A program minimum applies and is shown in the calculator for this purpose. For a modest used bike under that floor, many riders fold the purchase into a slightly larger loan that also covers gear and setup.
