Destination club membership, financed at a fixed rate.

Membership and initiation costs for a destination or fractional club, financed at a fixed rate — so the account you meant for the actual travel stays intact.

Checking your rate does not affect your credit score.

What it covers.

  • A destination-club or residence-club initiation deposit
  • An annual or multi-year membership commitment
  • A fractional or private-residence share buy-in
  • A club upgrade or tier change

Why a Lightstream loan.

Keep your travel fund for travel

Draining savings for an initiation defeats the purpose. Financing the membership at a fixed rate leaves your cash free for the trips the club exists to enable.

A fixed payment, not club financing

Some clubs offer in-house financing at their own rate. An independent fixed-rate loan lets you compare, and keeps the financing separate from the membership contract.

Funds paid the way the club needs

Money in your account means you pay the initiation or share cost directly, on the club’s schedule, without a lender in the enrollment process.

No penalty to pay it off

If a bonus or a good year lets you clear the balance early, there is no prepayment penalty — the membership is simply paid off ahead of plan.

Frequently asked questions.

Yes. Because funds are deposited to your account, you can size the loan to cover both a one-time initiation or share cost and the first annual dues, then pay the club directly on its enrollment schedule.

Club or developer financing may be convenient but is priced to the club’s advantage and ties the debt to the membership. An independent fixed-rate loan lets you compare the true cost and keeps your financing separate from the club agreement.

A buy-in to a fractional or private-residence club is treated like any membership cost — you receive funds and pay your share. Note that a deeded fractional real-estate interest with its own mortgage is a different product; this covers the membership or share cost paid from your account.

This purpose starts at a higher minimum and runs to the program ceiling, shown in the calculator, reflecting the initiation and share costs typical of destination clubs.
